Polytechnic college

Recently enrolled in a Business diploma and have decided to drop out because that isn't the program for me but also because Nait is actually such a waste of time. Wasn't surprised to see other negative reviews. There's never any staff in the building which means 0 support for students. Office hours make no sense. Student Services" staff are rude and unhelpful. Why are all their staff still working from home??? I had such a negative experience just trying to drop out

The security department really need to do more training. One security guard who claimed he has been working as a security guard at the school for over 25 years pointed at student while reminding the school is about to close with very rude tunes. He also said he is a good security guard, but I really doubt that because he doesn’t even know his responsibility at school after working so many years. I understand that he might rush to go home or he might has his days, but it is unacceptable for that attitude towards a student. Especially when the student stay there before closing time. He even yelled at me and said:” students at another building left at 9:30pm, by that time, the building is empty already.” Sounds like he was blaming me not leaving school one hour earlier just like others do and make his job “easier”. Hello? I am a student and I study hard at school somehow impacted his life? Besides, I left the school before the closing time. If a security guard who really worked at the school for over 25 years was trained to help the school creating a worse study environment, treat students with disrespectful behaviour and rush them to go home earlier, the study environment at the KPU is going to be destroyed by security guards like him. And the reputation of KPU in the future???

What a joke of an educational institution--all they care about is your money not your education. My emails to them go unanswered, cannot reach anyone in the registrars office to resolve an issue with finances, they will simply cut off your access if there's a hick up and ignore your requests for reasonable solutions--just a bunch of money hungry, judgemental, self serving stooges. I regret applying here--very disappointed!!

Beautiful facility, and the instructors in the University transfer courses are amazing! Advising staff are also great. Ill be sad to transfer out

Registrars and students office were not helpful. You can submit your concern through the web form and you'll get canned responses. The payment site is not reliable as they will charge you twice and you have to wait weeks to get a refund. After paying the full amount of tuition fee, they also took the money from my student funding. Made me over paid the amount. I contacted the web form and no one can explain why this happened. We are talking about thousands not cents. I hope you can improve this. Don't leave the students clueless.

Nait is ok but not my first choice. Very costly if you look around you have options if you're going into the trades and going back to school for your apprenticeship.E.g. Pipe Trades College you don't pay for parking as extra, you don't pay for lockers as extra and it's cheaper. Naits Plumbing common core (same program different Nait title) was at $1250 last I looked, Pipe Trades College 850 and everything said above is included. Don't forget after signing with Nait you need to pay for books... Could be 300-500 more. PTC was only 369.I get a school that needs to make money but come-on, that mark up is crazy.

Beautiful modern facility with ample parking. Unfortunately, any interaction I have had with the employees has been unpleasant. Perhaps the employees are kind and helpful to regular attendees, but on two separate occasions I’ve received service that will ensure I spend my money elsewhere.

I stayed in the fairview campus the class sizes were small the teachers were excellent but the lady who runs the dorms rose" is rude and unreasonable! The checkout time was noon on the same day I had to write my government exam! This lady insisted I spend the night before the test packing rather than studying! I dont know how she even still has a job! she adds immense stress to the students at a critical time in the education that they paid dearly for! The dorm is a dump and the beds are the same ones they use at the peace river correctional facility!"

Quite a new facility, courts in good condition, room for spectators too. Nice walking path around a duck pond just to the south.
