Urgent care center

My wife required access to Urgent Care last Sunday. We were very impressed with the high level care and professionalism that staff showed us and other people in need of care. We thank all the staff for their much valued attention and care. They are heroes

While this is a very good clinic overall, please be aware that the hours posted online and on the door may not always be the correct hours. CALL FIRST so that you're not standing outside waiting for them to open a location that isn't in fact open that day.Besides that we’ve found this clinic & multiple rotating doctors very helpful from everything from cuts and stitches, to viruses and referrals.

The reception is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Firstly, they don’t answer the phone. I called as I drove over and was on hold the entire time. I came into the clinic still on hold but no phones were ringing and no receptionist was aware. Once told, they defended their position that they didn’t get a call and that the google reviews are lying.This receptionist then turned me away because my health card was expired despite having a critical injury in my hip that was prohibiting me from walking. I struggled to Service Ontario and back to get an appointment. As I was waiting the same receptionist let another person with an expired health card and very light cough “get away with it”.Incredibly disrespectful, uncaring, and lacking compassion. The doctor was fantastic though…

The Doctors are great and have a wonderful way with patients. The reception staff can be very rudeI get it you are the ONLY walk in in the city but talking to people rudely and complaining about the long line ups to the people who have been waiting 2 hours for you to open shows a total lack of professionalism or empathy.I hope your office manager reviews attitude.

i wish i could give more than 5 stars. i’ve been here so many times for myself and my kids. i absolutely love all the staff there, they are friendly, fast and it’s very clean!last week i took my 6 year old in for the stomach bug, he was throwing up and just not himself. kate i believe her name was, she was amazing. you can tell she actually cares.yesterday i took my two boys in for strep throat and the other one got his finger slammed in the door. she was very quick to give my son tylenol for his temperature and make sure he was feeling better before we left. my son got his finger glued and she talked him through it all.love love love this place!!

This is the first time i went here and probably will be the last. I wouldn’t recommend this “ urgent care” at all ,The receptionist needs to be more humble and caring and be more respectful to patients as patient have some serious problems that’s why they are there.The guy receptionist in the front is very very rude!Just a heads up they will make u wait 5hrs or more!Just find other clinic to go to to be honest .

Front desk staff is nice. Doctors just provide prescriptions without properly checking you for kickbacks. We wasted thousands of dollars for false diagnosis.

We are absolutely disturbed by the behaviour of the receptionist named Sabina who is terrorizing older clientele and particularly my father who is 85 years old and who is a holocaust survivor . He came to see a walking dr and has been screamed ,yelled and threatened by this lady Sabina the receptionist . Even though the other person was trying to help and understand the situation and telling him that he can go see a dr but this lady Sabina continued harassing my father and insulting him by not letting him to go see a waking dr with absolutely no reason to that . My father ended up in a hospital after that situation that was created with no reason by Sabina . To the management : this is your direct responsibility to hire and teach your workers to behave in a professional matter with dealing with people especially older people and you failed on all the points to do that . We will be sending an official complain letter to the ministry of health and asking them to look into your operations .

Super super patient and helpful staff! Best walk-in clinic I have ever been to. Very informative, and caring for your well-being. They helped me with my WSIB claim and restored my faith in the healthcare system.It was VERY busy here, and even though I used skip the waiting room feature I still had to wait just over an hr, But it was worth it 100%. Less wait time then ER, and better/more caring service.Use the main entrance and follow the signs.

First off I would like to say that I am very grateful for James Bay Urgent care and all of their staff! I had the most unfortunate run in with my thumb and a spinning saw blade, I googled urgent care and found James Bay Urgent care and drove straight there. Upon arrival they took me in for exam minutes after arrival. They ultimately cleaned up my gash on my thumb and over the next 10 days cleaned up my thumb and re bandaged. They showed me how to do it myself after that with the odd check in to see how my thumb was doing, my thumb has healed really well and no more bandages!!! I have never had better care and concern at a medical facility EVER!!! Thank you to everyone at James Bay Urgent Care. A real 5 star experience!!
