bloom. at Conestoga College
Our group of 10 had dinner at Bloom last night, which was the first night I believe for this semester of students. While there were service issues during previous visits, this time the service was impeccable. The quality of the food is always fantastic, a great value, and last night was no exception. Everybody was extremely impressed with their meal! A snafu with the reservation was more than made up for by the extremely personable and generous manager. Compliments to the students and the manager - and we will be back for sure!

Brooklyn Marina
Brooklyn Marina is a not-for-profit community-based facility. They provide space for recreational boats of all types, including sail and power. Typical fees are very low compared with most other marinas. This includes fees for visiting mariners. During the summer season, they offer a number of social gatherings, including weekly musical events.

All of the staff aka family at Niemi Family Farm are always so kind and courteous. Today I went for their first day of their annual Christmas Market. Picked up some amazing items. And some fresh baked bread. Yummmy.

Café Leonidas Cote-des-Neiges
A treat now and again, these milk and dark chocolates confections are always extremely fresh. The trip to Leonidas is especially worthwhile during holidays, where they have special flavours you can't taste the rest of the year. My favourites: the banana cream and champagne truffle chocolates. You can also sit inside and have coffee or hot chocolate and they also serve ice cream.

Quebec ( Plaza de las cervezas)
Siempre me ha gustado, tanto el quebec en general como su famosa y deliciosa tortilla, pero el otro día tengo que decir que no estaba nada rica, parecía como si llevase hecha desde el día anterior, patata algo dura y muy insípica, como su le faltase sal. Tambien decir que las palomas resultan molestas, sobre todo cuando se suben a tu mesa con ganas de robar tortilla. Espero poder volver a mejorar la valoración y mi experiencia en próximas visitas.
