I have had 5 & now recently a 6th Fur baby Cremated At DEVONSHIRE I have never had any issues or concerns .Allans services has always been professional . I HAVE BEEN USING DEVONSHIRE FOR 11 YRS NOW AND WILL CONTINUE TO PUT MY TRUST IN THEM AT A VERY DIFFICULT TIME IN MY LIFE .

I had a taxi bring my precious Dragon into Devonshire and they were so nice, they gave me a phone call when she was picked up and on her way home as well. She was even sent back in a nice Papier-mâché like Urn. I would defiantly recommend them for anyone who wants to keep their little fur/scale/feather children with them forever.

Devonshire made the very difficult process of unexpectedly losing my kitten a little bit easier. The veterinary office organized for them to collect her remains, which they did the very next morning. A few days later I was in contact with Devonshire, and we set up a time for me to collect her ashes. I appreciated that I didn't need to communicate with them in the immediate aftermath of my kitten's passing - they did everything on their own in conjunction with the veterinary office. This allowed me some time to grieve a bit before dealing with the rest of the details.I found the man, who I presume is one of the owners, to be very professional and kind. He asked me about my pet and what happened, and I showed him some pictures of her from happier times. He did spell her name correctly (as some previous reviews remarked on this), even though it is a rare Persian name and easily misspelled!I wanted to write this review because the negative reviews here caused me anxiety at the beginning of this process, as I worried my pet would not be treated with dignity and respect. I did end up having a good experience though, and so hope that this review will calm anyone who may be going through something similar in the future.

best dog care you could find.Whenever I turn to the road leading to the place my Bernese starts to jump in the car feeling to excited and happy to be with Barash ,Tara and Ella their young daughter who love her so sooooooooo much. Perfect size of premises meadow,pond,woods around beautiful and very healthy surroundings.Certainly the best place where your pup will be very happy,well taken care of and loved .

I lost my best friend of 14 years, Sam on April 6th, and regret bringing him to Devonshire. I ordered a keepsake urn, but it was scratched up when I received it, so I immediately emailed Allan and he promised to replace it when his next shipment arrived. I’ve emailed him a few times, and he hasn’t taken the time to respond.I have since gone to a different business to purchase Sammys main urn. My experience between the two businesses are complete opposites. Devonshire was so filthy, and smelled strongly of urine. I was heartbroken to find out Sam’s ashes were given to me in a Dollermma box, not even wrapped or anything.Please don’t be like me, and research your options before bringing your fur babies to be cremated. There are better options available.(I never leave bad reviews, but this was necessary) I’m so disappointed and disgusted by this experience.

We've been boarding our poodles here for well over a decade (after a horrible experience at another local kennel where my standard poodle was traumatized). He LOVED 2 Paws Up!) On the drives to Tappen the dogs figure out where they were going and get so excited! At pick-up time, they greet me happily, but are in no hurry at all to leave all their new canine friends and the fun at Tania's. They give her goodbye kisses. That is the best sign to me that this is the best boarding kennel around! We travel several times a year, and are thankful our baby(ies) are cared for, and enjoying their vacation, too.

Disappointing. Nobody ever greets me or offers to help me. I usually don’t even get talked to when I’m checking out, they just tell me the total and ask if I want a receipt. I’d love to support a local buisness, but I’d rather be treated nicely. They are the only place in town that sells our puppies food, as soon as he’s on adult food I won’t be back.

Always have had a great experience with Devonshire , over 6 Newfs and as many cats . Always picks up our babies at the vet and takes good care . I haven't been inside as my husband always goes . Not sure why people expect it to be warm . We are do grateful to have this service at such a difficult time . Thank you .
