Oden restaurant

No one makes Tteokbokki as good as this restaurant. My son usually orders combo C" for cheese. But today we tried combo "D" (chicken) and combo "E" (shrimp and beef). I liked both

This is my first visit.I am not sure if I will come back again.We went there today around 9pm. They were a little busy, I only see one server running the whole dining room…So the service wasn’t the best, we were waiting for server to take our order forever. And no spoon provided when we have rice and soup on the table, we need to wait for server passing by and we need to stop her to ask for spoon. I feel bad for her, maybe the owner should hire more server ?The food was ok, not as good as I expected….clams and scallops are sandy, I cannot enjoy the food that I paid for.This meal we paid total $92 ( including tips), it’s quite expensive. I know food cost and labor cost are higher than before, but I don’t think the food quality and service that I received is worth it.

Delicious honey Korean food. Great for sharing and big portions, especially good value for the combo sets which come with fried food and make your own rice balls. The tteokbokki were all great (the green onion fried chicken was my personal fav and the cheese one was great too, huge cheese pulls). Super chewy and soft and delicious, not too spicy either. Would love to come again.

Super yummy and very decently priced! Their tteokbokki is perfectly soft and chewy. Definitely order from their “Sets” menu - you get a huge portion of tteokbokki, with fried snacks (the kimmari was tasty!) and rice balls on the side! (We made about 6-7 rice balls with our portion) Spice level of the kingkong tteokbokki was perfect for me, and I have a relatively low spice tolerance.

Tasty tteokbokki with perfect chewy texture. Spice level was good for my below-average tolerance. (for reference I enjoy fire noodles with 1/3 of the sauce packet lol)Personally didn't like the fried set but everything else was good!

The food I ordered came in a big portion, enough to feed 2. The meat was very good however it’s a tight space inside for a group of 5. As well, the waiters don’t bug you much, only when you need them.

Let’s start with the food, the seafood skewers set were nice, loved the shrimp, as well as the scallops, the unagi was good as well but nothing too special. I would give it a 6/10.Next the beef skewers, half of them were dry, the rest (I think was beef tongue) was slightly better, but it was a let down, not a bang for your buck. 4/10Takoyaki seems to be a bit better than other places, was not extremely doughy like other places.Drinks were fine, but the price is not justified, knowing that when you go to an Izakaya it will cost a bit, but the taste was like water with fruit fragrance, the grape one was a bit better.Service was extremely good, server came and check on you often, always smiling, very friendly.Decor was nice, simple, with the murals on the walls, that’s maybe for the better, no one likes it when the decor is overwhelming.Overall the experience was fine, nothing too special but for that price maybe the food and drinks could have tasted better.

We went to Ronin for our friend's birthday and the staffs were super nice and welcome, the food was great and the drink was amazing. The staffs also turn on hockey game for us to watch as well.Definitely come back with our friends.No complaint about this restaurant.11/10, Love it.
